Notched for Gibson “long scale” (25.3″), Fender (25.5″), and Martin (25.4″) scales. Other side is a 16-3/8″ straightedge.

SM4012 is for short scale guitar:
Notched for the Gibson (24-3/4″), Martin (24.9″), plus Paul Reed Smith and Dobro® (25″) scales. Other side is a 16-3/8″ straightedge.
