XY-pad
Het XY-pad zorgt ervoor dat door een simpele beweging van de vinger het geluid drastisch kan worden vervormd. Hierdoor kun je jouw performance nog meer expressie geven. Er zijn verschillende presets aan boord waarmee je verschillende parameters aan kunt sturen. Hieronder een overzicht van de effecten die aan te sturen zijn.

Sampler
De MK401 is voorzien van een microfoon die boven het display zit. Door een sample (van een stem bijvoorbeeld) op te nemen zal het keyboard automatisch deze sample transponeren (verhogen of verlagen), en uitspreiden over het hele keyboard. Een achtergrondkoortje inspelen op je instrument wordt hiermee dus een fluitje van een cent. Naast het feit dat dit hele komische stemvervormingen tot gevolg kan hebben, kan deze tool na een beetje oefening ook heel muzikaal worden ingezet.

Sampler
The MK401 is equipped with a microphone that sits above the display. So playing a background chorus on your instrument becomes a piece of cake.
